FAQ
1) Do you have a showroom?
No, we do NOT have a showroom! However, this allows us to reduce overhead costs significantly so that we can transfer more savings to our valued customers. Customers may view actual, real photos of our completed projects on our Instagram.
2) Is SG Glass Experts the right company for me?
At SG Glass Experts, we aim to provide a fuss-free experience with minimal meet-ups. Our preference is to liaise with our clients mainly through WhatsApp instead of phone calls, so that all communications can be documented for transparency and clarity. We are respectful, reasonable and amicable when corresponding with our clients, and we are always thankful for clients who reciprocate similarly. If our working style / values do not align, we would strongly recommend that clients engage another company that may suit them better. Throughout our years of operation, we notice that clients who share similar values / working style as us tend to be the most satisfied with our services.
3) How do I ask for a quote, and what does the quote include?
Keep your queries concise. Screenshot what you'd like from our Instagram (@sgglassexperts) and let us know the overall length x height required. If you need a quote for windows or grilles, please provide us the total length of all windows required (Eg. Total length 16.8m (living rm + all bedrooms + kitchen) or send us photos of your current windows (1 photo per room). 4) How do I book a measurement appointment?
Head over to http://tinyurl.com/BookingSGE. All quotes given are valid for 20 days. The booking fee paid is non-refundable, but it is NOT an added cost as it can be used to offset the final bill of the project.
5) Are prices locked-in once I make a booking for an advance appointment?
As with all other industries, we are not able to lock-in prices indefinitely as operations and material costs are fluid and subject to changes. Rest assured that we are always committed to keeping prices affordable and transparent. All quotes given are valid for 20 days.
6) Will I get faster responses once I have made a booking?
Yes, we prioritise our confirmed clients and they usually receive a response from us within 1 to 2 days. The only exception is when an official quote has already been sent to the client after measurement and there is no confirmation of order, yet the client continues to ask for further quotes. Such requests will be treated like any other general query.
7) I am an ID / contractor and my client has requested me to engage SG Glass Experts. How do I go about it?

8) I have an ID / contractor. Can you help to liaise with them?

9) I have already sent in multiple messages via WhatsApp / Instagram but there's no reply.
Regrettably, there is a chance we may not respond to every single query due to the high volume of messages we receive daily. In such cases, please accept our sincere apologies and we appeal to customers to refrain from sending us unsolicited / unkind comments. Otherwise, we may take up to 10 days or more to respond to general queries. Kindly also do not send chasers or call us repeatedly during this period, as we always respond to earlier messages first. Our confirmed clients (clients who have booked an appointment) usually receive a response from us in 1-2 days or whenever we are available.
10) I wish to engage SG Glass Experts to do many items. Are you able to quote me for everything first?
It takes time and effort to manually calculate each and every customized quote. Hence, to prevent misuse of our free quotation services, we strongly recommend that prospective clients book an appointment early on after receiving a customized quote (e.g. for kitchen or study glass partitions). For standard items such as shower screens or standard-sized doors, send us a screenshot from our IG and we will be happy to quote.
11) I am getting my home keys within the next few months. When should I make an appointment?
We advise customers to book an appointment early as our slots are usually very full. You can set a tentative date with us first, and can still change later on without having to re-queue again as we prioritize our confirmed clients. Do check with us regarding the earliest available appointment date. Many of our clients actually book us 1 year in advance!
12) I prefer to meet up to discuss first. Do you provide free on-site measurement?
For matters related to space planning, kindly discuss them with your ID / main contractor. Due to high volume of appointments, we are only able to prioritize our confirmed clients for on-site measurements. 13) What is the production time for installation?
Generally during off-peak seasons, it takes about 1 week+ to fabricate for installation. During peak seasons (1 to 2 months prior to major PHs or festivities), it may take 3-4 weeks of production time. Window installations are subject to approval of HDB window installation permits. Window installation permits that involve ventilation fans or other non-standard customizations will usually take longer (1 month minimally).
14) Do you accept installment payments (E.g. Atome, Hoolah)?
Yes, we offer Atome or Hoolah payment options. However, we charge a one-time 8% transaction fee which would be included into the project total cost. To illustrate, if you use Atome / Hoolah to pay for a project that costs $360, the total amount payable would be $360 + 8% = $388.80. This amount will then be split into 3 equal interest-free payments of $129.60.
15) Is there warranty for your installed items?
6 month warranty for mirrors, 1 year warranty for workmanship and hardware. Items with our SGE Safeguard Clear Safety Film installed will be covered by our SGE Assurance Lifetime Warranty which offers one-to-one replacement for all forms of glass breakage (only for items with SGE Safeguard Clear Safety Film installed from 15 July 2023 onwards).
